brauchte für eine "60erjahrerockabillypetticoatrevival"-party das ensprechende outfit.
bei humana wurde ich fündig! von der badekappe über das nyltest-hemd bis hin zur
röhrenhose haben die hier alles im sortiment. da die klamotten unterdessen "kultisch" sind, haben die preise dafür stark angezogen. hält sich aber hier noch im rahmen. gute auswahl auch an anderen second hand textilien, teilweise sogar fast neuwertig. so konnte ich mir auch mal spasshalber einen smoking leisten.
p.s. die party war dann nicht so dolle...

Some items are preddy expensive for a second hand shop...
Anyway, still is a cheap way to renew your wardrobe with original clothing that nobody else wears!

Pros: huge and sorted in terms of article and color, not by size, although (as far as I could tell, not speaking German) clothing for young and plus-sized women had dedicated areas. Vintage items have their own floor and are tagged by decade.

Cons: fairly pricey, suit jackets for example ranged from 5€ super clearance to upwards of high 30s for a not so high-end brand.

All in all it was worth the visit. I ended up with 2 new or almost new cotton shirts and a lined wool suit jacket for less that I would have paid at a department store.

Ich werfe hier jedes Mal einen Blick hinein, wenn ich mich in Berlin aufhalte, das letzte Mal im Dezember 2013. Es ist vergleichbar mit einem Flohmarkt, aber halt überdacht und auf fünf Etagen verteilt. Mit einer bestimmten Absicht darf man nicht hineingehen, denn dann wird man wahrscheinlich enttäuscht. Aber es lohnt sich, zuerst ganz nach oben in den 4. Stock zu gehen und sich durch die Abteilungen nach unten zu arbeiten. Irgendwas (und meist mehr, als man vorhatte) findet man sicher. Den karikativen Wert des Einkaufs muss jeder selbst beurteilen, s. diverse Berichte unter Google. Es sollte einfach das Einkaufserlebnis im Vordergrund stehen. Wer dann noch nicht genug hat, fährt zum Alex, da ist auch eine große Filiale. Oder nach Wien, da sind mehr als zehn über die ganze Stadt verteilt, die man dadurch auch gleich besichtigen kann.

I am surprised to see such low rating. I thought this thrift store was incredibly impressive. I found this most wonderful German dress for just 19 euros and two years later, it is still my favorite thing I have gotten on both of my trips to Europe. There is such a huge variety of stuff to look at it and it is easy to find clothes or other items as gifts to bring people back home. And yeah, there aren't many people who speak English but that's the thing about going to other countries, they have their own language. Meeting people abroad who speak English in non-English speaking countries is a random gift that can't just be expected.
