July 3/2022: Dinner with Ralf & Traudi.

Excellent meal close to Hamburg. Traditional Italian fare that all tasted fantastic. We started with a antipasto platter. Many veggies with some meats All delicious.

My main was the veal scallopini. Tender veal with a Gorgonzola/mushroom sauce. I just had to bread dip after!

Finished off with tiramisu & a nice cappuccino. All while dining alfresco!

This was the first restaurant we found when coming to Großhansdorf and have now been a couple times. The food is consistent Italian without any fanfare. The outside of the building is unassuming but the interior is welcoming and we find the seating arrangements comfortable and the ambiance pleasant. We've been lucky I guess (when reading other reviews) to have great service each time we've been here. We had different waiters and they were always willing to do a "bit more". We've definitely been surprised by this as it was always full when we came. Further, they were even having a private event one of the times we arrived and they made space for us on a side of the restaurant and still let us eat there. The food is your standard Italian fare but well prepared and we have found it to be a good option if you want a quick place to go and grab something. They also have outdoor seating and it should be a nice place to hit in the warmer months. We will most likely be here quite often as the selection in Großhansdorf is limited. Let's hope the service keeps up and the food remains of good quality.
