Kirr Royal

We happened to visit this place as part of a birthday party. Located in a shopping center this a kitsch 80's bar decorated to look like a disco from the times gone by. It's not a huge place with room for about a hundred people. There is a nice long bar in the middle of the place and a dance floor. There is a DJ playing 80's music behind the bar.

The drink choices are ok and the cocktails were pretty ordinary. The mojito was either too strong or too weak depending on who was making it. The beer was also quite a weak beer. Not sure what they serve normally for food here but the food we had was quite ok. They brought out platters of fried food and platters of vegetarian starters (mostly store bought).

The DJ here was terrible and his choice of music not only limited but totally random and he played everything from 60's to 80's in a random order and from fast to slow and fast again and so on. Some of his tracks also were skipping sections and it was just a bit weird.

As we were a big group we had a great night despite the poor choice of music. I would probably come here again as a group but not otherwise.
