Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Bob H.Tacoma, Vereinigte Staaten116343825. Sept. 2015
Solid service and consistently good cakes and drinks. Then this is expected here in Germany.

We went here again with our school group, tho this time, more people chose individual meals rather than the Daily menu, tho 4 of our group did get the Monday choice, which was the Turkey Curry with fruit and Rice, tho again they got 2 small pieces, bite sized, of cake with icing, so rather disappointing. I ordered the Wiener sausages with German potato salad, no mayo, which was good, tho I have had better at our local butcher. However, the curry meal was delicious, and the Mint Hot chocolate, for 3.50 Euros, was more spoon eating than drinking. Small cup, more espresso sized, but wonderful taste. I enjoyed this chocolate, but this place is not my favorite place.
The servers were really nice, tho they did forget one person's order, and the dessert for the daily menu. We were in the back, so kind of out of sight.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 015. Mai 2017Vorheriger BeitragWe went there for lunch with our school group, and everyone there except for me ordered the Tages Menu, Frikadelle, which are really little hamburger patties with cheese on top. With that came sauteed veggies like mushrooms, tomatoes, zucchini, olives onions, red peppers, and small pan-fried potatoes. Not really large, but well dressed plate, very filling, and tasted ok, tho my spouse thot his mom's were better. Everyone had either Apfel Schorle or just bubbly water. Then came any type of coffee, most had espresso, tho one had cappuccino. Then each diner had a different cake with the Tages Menu, tho no one got to choose. There was chocolate, pineapple, apricot, raspberry, cheese, and Johannis berry. Interestingly enough, the GErmans seem to really like the type of birthday cake consistency, something I and my spouse are not used to, as his parents always made their desserts with more pie like crusts. However I had the Hawaii Toast which was the typical toast bread with ham slices, jam, pineapple pieces and cheese over it all with a delicious salad dressing on my fresh crisp lettuce and sauerkraut. The taste was good, and filling enough that I was glad that my meal didn't come with dessert.
