Konditorei Café Heinemann

Wir waren schon ein paar mal in dem Café. Sei es Frühstück oder für einen leckeren Nachmittagssnack. Es schmeckt immer. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, es ist sauber und das Essen lecker.

Die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung.

First off, the sweets shop at the front is completely adorable! The window was full of goodies celebrating up-coming Easter. I grew up in Germany and I happened to be here with my husband who is here for a work trip. One of my goals was to sit in a cafe and eat German sweets. The ladies in the front were very nice and spoke English so I was able to ask questions without Google translate. I ended up just having water and a piece of torte and it was absolutely lovely. Highly recommend if you're in Dusseldorf!

Came here just for pastries and coffee. Tried the Forest Cake and it was a bit bland, but not terrible. Haven't tasted this cake anywhere else so I'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to taste like. Staff was welcoming and the service was fast.

One of my regular stops in Dusseldorf.....I either go to the cafe to try some cake or I walk out with champagne truffles. The window of the store is the first stop. The cakes are beautiful first of all, but then walk inside look around...head upstairs for cake, coffee....food for that matter, but the cakes are the best ever. Whoever says that the French are the best bakers hasn't had cake at Heinemann....I dont know the names of anything I have eaten, but I can assure you there are moist jams, cremes, hazelnut, nutella, marzipan, etc inside the cakes....and everyone I have tried has been so good. Its best to go with a few people and everyone get one and try them all! Its a busy place, crowded in peak lunch time, but a casual atmosphere.

One of the best in the world. They are doing everything right as they have been in business since the early 1930's.

With several locations, they are easy to locate in this region.

When William B is in town he always gets Heinemann cappuccino, cookies and truffles.

I can't stress enough how these are the best confectionery items he has ever had the pleasure of eating. They are made to be savored.

Very nice café with great cakes and coffee. I´ve been there a few times already and never been disappointed.

If you are in Duesseldorf, I suppose you should try here once at least. They've got all kinds of tasty cakes as well as confectionaries. They are famous for the champagne truffle. If you see the person with bright green plastic bag, that's here!
