Krumme Brücke

We found this little place, The Crooked Bridge, after traipsing the beautiful medieval streets of Tuebingen. This is not a trip for the weak ankled-- the cobble-stone streets go up and down and can confuse a new visitor. Luckily, I was with someone who knew the town so it was all good.

The server at Krumme Brucke greeted us warmly and gave us menus. They have local beer on tap and I recommend it. We had the snitzel with ham and asparagus-- it is delicious and salty and served with pomme frites aka french fries.

The atmosphere here is cozy and warm here. The food was delicious and inexpensive, the service was friendly and unobstrusive. Thank you, Krumme Brucke!

We were not sure what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. I couldn't find many English reviews or suggestions. The cheese Spaetzle was amazing. My husband got the sauerkraut, noodles and sausage and it was also very good! Highly recommend either dish. Enjoy! The village is gorgeous too.
