Solid French restaurant. Lovely to sit outside on a quiet side street on a pleasant Spring evening with sunset occurring around 9:00 pm.

Started with some bread that came with excellent olive oil. Then shared escargots, which were chewy but tasty. Also had the pate, the two large (thick) pieces were good, although it had a strong liver flavor. It was served with two pieces of toasted bread, some salad and some cornichons which were neither too pickled nor two sweet. Surprised it wasn't served with mustard.

The beef filet was excellent - a very good piece of meat cooked perfectly in a nice red wine sauce with potato gratin, which was not creamy or heavy. The other beef filet, entrecote, was not nearly as good - it was thin, fatty and bit tough. The fries it came with were thicker than expected and but nice and crispy. Both dishes came with large salads with two much dressing.

Surprised by the limited number of wines by the glass (6). The Gamay was decent. Also got a bottle of Medoc, which was fairly good. Cost: 125 euros.
