LeDu is a Chinese dumpling restaurant chain in Munich. This location is a takeaway dumpling spot located at Stachus Passagen which is the undeground shopping mall located at the Karlsplatz train station.

They offer a half dozen types of dumplings and also sell jianbing which are Chinese crepes. Although this place is geared for takeout, there is a dining area in the back of this small restaurant.

Ordered a half dozen dumplings for €5 with one of each type of dumpling. This makes for a decent light lunch. Surprisingly liked the veggie dumplings here more than I expected. On the countertop if you are dining in, they have an array of dumpling sauces if you want add some more flavor to them.

This spot is an okay option if you are looking for some Chinese food to change it up from eating German dishes. And better suited for takeaway as the space is small. I wouldn't recommend this place for a larger group than 2 people.

The advertisement for jianbing caught my attention as I was going shopping on a cold Saturday morning. What's better than light and tasty protein before visiting stores during the winter sales?

The shop was empty on that morning, and contemporary chinese pop gave it a good vibe. The jianbing was ordered, quickly prepared, and delivered, naked, on a small basket.

Using baocui instead of the more common youtiao gives it a point for originality. Alas, the dough was too chewy, the hot sauce was a mis-balanced hot & sour sauce, it felt like a failed attempt to mix Chinese jianbing with French crêpe.
