Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf

The Maritim is a great hotel if you need the convenience of being near the airport. While I would rather be in the city center, at least it is easily reached from here.

The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms well appointed and clean, comfortable beds and a great shower. The windows open, but if you are facing the airport, it will be loud, having said that, it is very quiet when they are closed.

Breakfast is typical German style, no complaints. The bar is nice and cozy. Staff is friendly, helpful and smiling. Being close to the airport, there are many shops and restaurants there if you don't want to venture into the city.

The Maritim is a great choice.

Great location, very convenient for overnight layover flights, you can walk to Dusseldorf International Airport as it is next door. Modern hotel with nice clean rooms and dining options. We did not have any issues hearing airplanes flying by over the night, we slept wonderfully even though the terminals were nearby. Had dinner at the bar, the server was very nice and my BBQ burger was delicious. If I have a future overnight layover in Dusseldorf I would definitely consider staying here again.

After staying in a series of small and old hotels around Europe, we were pleasantly surprised when we stayed here overnight for a connecting flight home. The hotel is right next to the airport and has a lot of amenities. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bedding was very plush and comfortable. The checkin process was a bit tedious but overall, it was a great hotel stay.

Nice and clan hotel but you have to pay €25 a day for parking even you are hotel guest.i asked them to cancel my reservation and refund.they refused!!
First time i paid for parking while i am staying at hotel.and it is insane amount!!
STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE A CAR.

The gym is horrible.....
The lift to the gym is broken.
Called reception "where is the gym?"
Answered "use the staircase next to room525"
I went. But she didn't tell me use the staircase to where!!!
I called again"on 3rd floor, miss"
I went to 3 rd floor. No. There is no gym!
I called again
They say " no no it's at first floor. Just use stairs.."
Omg.......
I went o 1 floor by big lift. Because I spent half an hour in this already.
I can't find it.
So I called them again...
" no you need to use stAircase.... From room325"
He ended up saying" good luck finding it" !!!!!!
Omg..........!!!!!!

Think twice before you go for this hotel.

Decent hotel but fairly standard. Obviously very near the airport. One thing: all the restaurants in the lobby are price gauging. You are kind of stuck if staying here. Rooms are big but generic. Decent gym and pool. Easy parking. Service was very attentive though and polite.

Beautiful room and friendly service! Super close to the airport, which was the primary reason for selecting it. Had a brief concern about check in times, but after an email to the hotel, I was assured that my late check in was noted on my reservation. If you need to have quick access to the airport, use this hotel! You can walk from terminal C in under 10 minutes. A short trip on the sky tram at the airport will get you to the airport train station which is not very far from the Hauptbahnhof for the city. I would definitely stay here again!
