Great hotel in a very convenient location. My room was large with a king size bed. The bed was firm but not uncomfortable.

The restroom is large and well appointed.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The internet is free to use but PAINFULLY and frustratingly slow. For this reason, I've taken away a star.

Large room with a king size bed.
      Large bathroom.

I'm here for two nights with work. Check in was very quick and easy. The employees were friendly.

The rooms are very large by European standards and very quiet. My room had a large double bed. Very comfortable. The hotel is right next to a little shopping area that has some restaurants and a grocery store. It is also within walking distance of many other great places to eat.

Public transit is right by the hotel. Super convenient. And there is a very old Jewish cemetery right around the corner that is worth visiting.

It was a pleasant stay. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

We had a one night stay here. Minutes Taxi ride from the Central Train station and about a 15 minute walk to the City Center.

A welcoming entrance/reception area that is open and spacious. Piano Bar is also in view when you walk in.

Check-in was seamless and fast We received a couple of complimentary bottles of water. We had a double room with an extra bed so it was spacious. A Safe with mini fridge were also included.

We were missing outlets next to the beds. That said, the Chocolate on the pillow was a nice touch. The Fitness room was smaller and had Cardio equipment and Tension station. A small pool was also in the same area.

Taxis seemed to usually be waiting in the front driveway. Staff was friendly, upbeat and helpful. A Concierge is available Overall, spacious, clean with a restaurant and elegant Piano Bar. Would Recommend.

love this hotel! everything is excellent but they do not enforce the muzzles on dangerous dogs in Germany and within 2 days 4 customers with XL pit bulls were allowed to walk their dogs in open public hotel spaces elevators lobbys and hallways without muzzLes. it was not acceptable to families elderly and general public within the hotel. Thendogs cannot be properly controlled in confined spaces such as elevators public bathrooms and hallways

It is a good hotel if you have to go there for a convention. It is a bit outdated, and it can happen that you have a long distance to walk from the front door/lobby to your room. And you likely have to use two different elevators in order to get there which can be kind of annoying. I really don't mind walking, I prefer walking. But in a hotel I don't want to have to spend ten minutes to get out of it or to get to the lobby.

The location is okay, there is a subway/light rail station nearby. The problem is that everyone smokes in the hotel and/or right outside, so you can't get dressed and ready without picking up the stink when leaving the hotel.
Parking is 21 Euros per day which is normal, and you park yourself.

I would still stay here if I didn't have another option.

This hotel was one of the only ones available when we went to Volksfest in October. It was kind of confusing on where our rooms were. We specifically requested non-smoking but it seemed at times that there was a strong smoke smell that would billow in from the vents (even with the window open). We came with our friends and she said the same thing about her room as well (and she is a smoker).

The beds were TERRIBLE. I did not sleep well at all. On top of the smoke smell, the beds were awful. The couch was no better, it was a plastic pleather uncomfortable thing you would find in a hospital birthing suite.

Arrived in this five star hotel yesterday. The staff is very pleasant and polite which is always a major plus. My room wasn't ready because i arrived early but the front staff was really apologetic about it. I ended up crashing for an hour in the lobby-well, slept was more like it. Lobby was huge, had several restaurants and the pool/gym and sauna was also on that floor. The gym was ehh, three cardio machines and lite fitness gym- the ones with three or four things you can do ( rows, lat pulls). The pool was nice, didn't go into the sauna. However, there is a local gym around the corner that hotel guests can use wth a fee. Now THAT gym was amazing, had every contraption possible as well as a vibration machine that can loosen or tone your muscles depending on how you use the machine.

The hotel room was nice and clean, a bit staid, think classical professionalism. Ours was the suite that opened into a living area and then another room for the bedroom. Only cons I have seen so far is that the mattress is a bit too soft for my comfort and I wish they had a coffee machine. Usually if your room is a suite they have a kitchen or at least a coffee machine. As well, and this is a major thing I have with any hotel, is that there should be free wireless. In this day and age, I feel that guests should get free Internet, it is so crucial these days.

Overall I would recommend this hotel, excellent and friendly staff that were trained very well, spacious lobby, free gym, pool, and sauna, and delicious meals.

It is ideally located, there were A TON of Americans there and a ton of business people there'd which wasn't surprising.
Only gripe would be paying for Internet and minor gripe would be the mattress.

I give it four stars instead of five because I never felt a WOW factor but it is a five star hotel in quality and service. I would rate it a five star hotel anywhere else except on yelp.

Good location, rooms ok but WiFi is a disaster, if you need to work in the room while in Stuttgart look for another hotel...

I've stayed in a few different hotels in Stuttgart and I would rate this one as good in comparison to past hotel experiences. If you can't stay near the Main Station (Hauptbahnof) then this would be a good second option. They have a coffee bar in the hotel, outdoor seating and a restaurant. More importantly - right outside your door is a gym, 2 grocery stores, a few good restaurants and a coffee bar. Train station is about a 5min walk away and bus stops are right outside the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating although they did charge my coworker's train tickets to my room accidentally. They are very eager to give you advice on where to go get a bite to eat, nearby grocery stores, bus routes and pharmacy hours.
The hotel has a VERY weird setup though. My room was on the 5th floor. To get there from the lobby, I had to walk down two flights of marble stairs (to floor -1?), then down a long hallway to the elevator. I then had to go from Floor -1 to Floor 5. Never really understood that one.
Another negative was wireless is not free. I don't know, these days, that doesn't seem like a lot to ask for. Also - breakfast is kind of pricey (19 euros) and not that special. I always got a coffee and a pastry from the shop in the train station and it was always fantastic.

We stayed here for our first night in Germany on our Tenth Anniversary trip. The hotel is huge and convoluted, but the front desk did a great job with directions. We were hungry so we wandered out. It was too late to find anything open fo rdinner, but we did find a great grocery store. We came back and ordered food and our first German beer in the bar. We ate in our room and fell sound asleep. The view was beautiful, the bed super comfy. Loved the hotel, though we weren't here long enough to see much. Would definitely come back. Parking was too expensive. Otherwise - great place.
