This was our first stop in the English Garten. It is very mini with about 10 picnic benches. We shared a currywurst and fries and a Helles. Bees were everywhere but pretty well mannered as no one was stung.

Located on the northern part of the Englischergarten this is a "mini" beer garden that sells Hofbräu beer and other drinks. There is also food here including cakes and other sweet stuff in the afternoon. As this part of the park is frequented by pet owners you will find tons of dogs at this beer garden on nice days.
When we stopped here it was packed and lots of people were about with their dogs. If you don't like dogs you might need to go at another time when there are not so many around. I estimate about 20-30 dogs were here and it was much fun. Being a dog owner it's great to be able to walk into a beer garden and not worry about crowds and lack of space for pets.
The cakes here are homemade and delicious. I would absolutely come back for cake again. It's also very reasonable priced. We shared two slices of cake one with orange and currants and the other with berries. Both cakes were delicious and the portions were big.
Will definitely come back here as it's a nice small place and great for dogs. Will try other food here but I can imagine it's ok. The beer is also quite ok here as is the coffee :-)Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jordan C.Louisville, Vereinigte Staaten06129. Juli 2019
Amazing little beer garden in the middle of a beautiful park. The food was cheap, yet very good. The beer was just as great. A great place to watch a game and grab a beer with friends. Or a nice place to relax after a stroll through the park. Definitely recommend this place if you in the park. Dog friendly too which is real nice.

While the original Hofbräuhaus may be the standard tourist destination I think I may prefer the Hofbräuhaus at the pagoda in the Englischer Garten. It may not have the hectic atmosphere of the original but it is still a busy and bustling place. It is a nice stop after exploring the gardens (my favorite in the entire world). They have a wide array of food and beer available if you are willing to wait in the lines. In fact, the lines only make your mouth water even more as you watch the food being prepared and served for others. Definitely drop by during the lovely summer months!

This is a miniature version of HB downtown. Good food good beer. Great location in middle of park. Dog friendly if you are afraid of dogs don't go here pet are free to roam but they are not a menace to ambiance. Kind of hard to find in middle of park. Worth the journey to visit .

Cute, little biergarten literally in the middle of the park, feels more like a temporary tent where they serve the usual beer and simple food. Seems popular with dog owners, as there are always lots of dogs roaming around, which can get a bit annoying sometimes if the sniff right at your table but overall a really cool, out of the path place to enjoy a drink in the park.
