Olivia Schokoladen & Tartes

Große Fans von Schokolade mit Angst um ihr Gewicht sollten diesen Laden nicht betreten. Denn sie werden es bitter bereuen, mit Tüten voll leckerem Hüftgold!
Billyregale von oben bis unten befüllt mit Schokolade zum Essen oder Trinken, selbstgemachte Torten, Tartes und Kuchen, es lebe der Süßkram.

Schön verpackt wird der Kuchen für den heimischen Kaffeetisch auch (ganz weit vorn: Tarte mit Chilischokolade), wahlweise bietet sich aber auch die Möglichkeit ihn vor Ort mit einer Tasse Kaffee zu sich zu nehmen. Vor der Tür. In der Sonne.

Dickes Manko: Die Bedienungen sind so lahm, dass man grundsätzlich zweimal drüber nachdenkt, sich jetzt "schnell" einen Kuchen vom Olivia zu holen.

For a short period, I lived around the corner from Olivia's. I gained 10 lbs. I literally could not walk by this little whimsy without popping in for a slice of whatever was looking delicious that day. My only wish was that it was a bit larger - so I could sit there, have my cake and eat it too.

I'm afraid my rating me be somewhat of an injustice to Olivia's, but after seeing the five star ratings and reading the review I used it as the place to meet a language tandem partner for the first time. I was very embarrassed to discover that it is much more of a shop and less a cafe, the place was very busy and only has one table to sit at inside, so we were forced to sit outside while we had our drinks. My hot chocolate was enjoyable but unremarkable.


I would like to point out that the cakes inside looked delicious and there is a very good selection of chocolate on offer too, just make sure you don't come along with too many friends!

I stumbled upon this place whilst looking for a flat I was going to see.... I ordered a piece of a fabulous cake and the woman was super wonderful who helped me. It's more of a take-away as there's really no room to sit unless you're one of the lucky people. There's also an Olivia in Barcelona run by a German guy but there's no connection. Olivia is such a sweet shop. You can get so many small things that are perfect for gifts, likle teas and chocolates. Also their self-made tartes are great!

Überdekoriert und etwas zu kostenintensiv für das was geboten wird. Bedienung meist unfreundlich bzw. sehr aufgesetzt. Exakt die gleiche Tarte mit Obst gibt es anderswo auch. Geschmacklich als auch optisch identisch, die Obstwähe beim Biomarkt. Qualität ist in Ordnung aber eben nichts außergewöhnliches

a must see! olivia rocks and so does her store great assortment of cakes, teas, chocolates, coffee, etc. and the place is always decorated so adorable!
