The quality of food the professionalism of the staff and great ambiance are a reason I come back. The menu changes and they have delicious specials that are always well crafted. Enjoy!!

My husband and I went to dinner here on our first night in Mainz. I was expecting more of the regular hotel restaurant dining experience (good but nothing to call home about), but was pleasantly surprised at the level of food offered. We started with the bonito carpaccio, AMAZING! (A fish that's not too popular in the states but it should be; has almost a beef like texture) and split the pumpkin soup (super decadent). For our main courses I opted for the German beef filet with a side of truffle risotto and swiss chard and my husband opted for the grilled char with bacon potatoes. Their house beer was great and they're offering of German wines paired perfectly with our German dinner. Our server Magunes was a wonderful host.

Started off with the simple yet elegant blood sausage and some bread. For my main course I tried the Filet with the basic side of potatoes and bacon. A heads up, make sure to ask the waiter to pair the food, since most of their wines are local and taste great. Overall a great spot, will stop again when in Germany.

Simply excellent. I went here on a date and it was the perfect atmosphere to talk and converse. The wine selection was really good. I had a Riesling that was made and Mainz and it was perfect. The food was great. I like my starter more than my main meal. I would say definitely go here for a special date or an anniversary
