Sachsenhof

Hotel Sachsenhof was selected for its price and proximity to the gay nightlife. They have rooms with private baths or we selected shared bath to save on costs. There are two toilets and one shower per floor, but that was no problem as the hotel wasn't busy. The door knob doesn't turn, carpeted wood floors squeaked. There were three single beds in our room. Motion sensors are used for economy for the hall lights and the shower stall. I had to wave my arms to have the lights turned back on when it timed out while showering. Breakfast may be added to your hotel stay, inform them if you want breakfast included at check-in. You may opt for a cup or pot of coffee in the morning and pay on the spot. There's a Kaiser Supermarkt nearby to buy breakfast which we did, and/or groceries, bring your own bag or buy one of theirs.
