Scheunecafé

Hier hatten wir ein wirklich super Frühstück in der Neustadt.
Man sitzt extrem schön im Freien, hauptsächlich im Schatten und hat viel Platz um sich auch entspannt zu unterhalten.
Das Frühstücksamgebot ist sehr vielseitig und geht von indischem Frühstück bis hin zu Klassikern wie Croissants und Rührei.
Das Angebot ist rein vegetarisch, aber vielseitig.

Wir hatten ein französisches Frühstück, ein Frühstück für 2 und ein indisches Frühstück.
DAs ScheunenFrühstück war extrem umfangreich mit zweierlei Eiern und einem sehr großen Obst Teller mit super frischem sehr leckerem Obst.

Der Service war sehr hilfreich und hat uns auf die verschiedenen Größen aufmerksam gemacht und wir konnten so verschiedenes kombinieren und alle wurden satt :).

Zum Ambiente innen sowie am Abend kann ich nichts sagen. Komme aber gerne bei meinem
Nächsten Besuch in Dresden wieder.

I got there by walking randomly in this nice area, and was very surprised by this nice terrace. It's perfect for a good drink in summer, but also to eat good and cheap meals.

The whole area is nice to walk in, so don't hesitate to go there !

Nice quirky restaurant in a fun part of Dresden.

Not what one would expect from an Indian restaurant, but the food is very good. Fun place to hangout and have a few beers...

good indian food, tikka masala sauce was rich and filling. Breads were not standard naan, but puffy crispy bread which was a good change-up. Beer on tap. Casual and comfortable vibe - we went too late in season and outdoor areas were closed down but inside was great too.

Few of the Indian resraurents in Dresden in my experience serve spicy indian dishes, which probably has to do with the desires of the locals. Nevertheless the dishes, such Chicken curry, Mutton Madras, we tasted were delicious. The Scheuna is a popular destination, so reservations outside the the warm summer evenings are essential.

The food is nice at the Scheune, but if you are a Brit expecting an Indian restaurant ou will find a few surprises. Having everything turn up at once - starters and main courses - is one. Dishes are not too spicy, and several of them come with nans etc, which is a little unusual.
