1st German restaurant I tried when moved to Germany, still the best. Stayed at the Hotel & this was the attached restaurant, had low expectations with how small it is. Blew my expectations out of the water. Food was delicious everything from the chicken to the lamb was outstanding. I've since tried other German restaurants & they taste like cardboard compared to here. Service was very friendly, the prices are on the higher side but well worth it. Place is also pretty popular, by myself it was easy to get a table but if you're going with a large group better to make reservations for dinner.

This is one of my absolute favorite German restaurants. This is the one I take all my friends to for lunch. I don't know if there was a chef change recently, but to my mind, the food seems to taste even better lately.

The servers recognize me most of the time because I am a regular which is cool. I try to order in German when possible but I see that all the servers know enough English (one or two speak incredible English) so any Americans who go should have no trouble ordering.

I love their salad and soups. It is pumpkin soup season right now and their pumpkin soup is very, very good. My favorite dish on the menu is their Rahm Schnitzel. Very well seasoned and not at all bland.

I go most often for lunch and they have an abbreviated lunch menu which changes and they will also let you order off the full menu which is nice. Not a lot of German restaurants let you order from the full menu during lunch hours.

The only downside is that you can't pay in debit card. So have euros with you when you go.

UPDATE: Sadly, we took this restaurant out of our rotation after a horrific service experience. We have it one more chance afterwards and decided it wasn't great enough to overlook the awful experience we had.

We are new to Germany and have been to this restaurant several times. They have a diverse menu with a selection of traditional German dishes such as steak and schnitzel as well as pasta, fish, soup and salad. The food is high quality and nicely prepared. We love the quaint ambiance of the room and friendly, English-speaking wait staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Atmosphere was incredible, love the decor and setting. Service was attentive and gracious. Food was delicious. I had the sirloin steak,Palpatine style. I can't say enough. This is our favorite Weilerbach restaurant.

My second favorite german place in the KMC area. While most of the food is good, the lamb here is some of the best I've had, not only in Germany, but ever.

Went for dinner and had rahmschnitzel. Food was okay, but service was great. Waitress was really nice - hostess not so much. Definitely would go back to try the steak - popular menu item with the guests.

Loved this place! As a previous review said: classy, yet relaxed. A local German lady told us about this place and we were not disappointed. The service was great, our hostess and waitress both spoke English. The menu has English translations for each item. The food was excellent! Lobster bisque is a must. Pork medallions with ham and mushroom cream sauce = yummmmm!

Delicious German food in a refined but relaxed environment. Nice outdoor atmosphere when the weather is warm.

Excellent meals and Service. Three of us had the Breaded Pork with Mushrooms and Potatoes, one had Smothered Steak, a and one had Schnitzel with the Bernaise Sauce, all were fresh, well prepared and hot. The side salads are excellent as well. The staff and owner were extremely kinds and personable. If you go on Saturday night, you should make reservations. All tables were reserved when we arrived at 4:45 pm.
