I have been here twice. There is a lot of interesting design/interior products. Some are very expensive. You can eat and drink as well. Overall a nice place to visit if you enjoy design and interior-related things

Chairs, sofas, tables, lighting, interior accessories, carpets, Hi-Fi solutions and so on. This "shopping mall" offers everything you need when you just moved in your new home and get ready to decorate it.

There are plenty of small and big shops of mostly high end designer brands such as Rolf Benz and many others. Since all the stores are door to door you can compare really well and see quite a lot in rather little time. At some point there are almost too many impressions that challenge your brain - and the discussions you'll have with your loved one about what looks good and what doesn't.


The place itself is modern, clean and well organized. Due to the high prizes it's normally also not too crowded.

Many stores offer regularly promotions and sales to be able to compete with the big furniture chains.

Overall an excellent place if you have plenty of cash to decorate your home.

Commercial design enthusiasts may well consider this nirvana. Organised like a shopping mall, Stilwerk has most of the big names in furniture, lighting, and accessory design, covering three (or four?) large floors. Most Berliners find the prices unreasonably high for larger items, but use it as a one-stop source for ideas, then find the same items for less elsewhere. I assume that the people who really buy here are industry-folk, with industry discounts. But it's great eye candy. And there are stores carrying smaller items, like kitchen tools, as well as one shop that is itself broken into stalls, carrying design items from smaller designers. There is convenient parking in the basement, a cafe, and a restaurant.
