I have to say that this restaurant is a little gem in the middle of a German residential neighborhood. We showed up late on a Monday evening after arriving from Prague and we were all starving. We looked up this Italian restaurant nearby our rented flat and showed up and they were very, very welcoming. The owner and his family were great and the food is absolutely excellent!!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you come to Berlin make sure you carve out some time to visit this little Italian gem!

Super leckerer und netter Laden. Nette Inhaber und riesige Pizza zu sehr guten Preisen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

At this point (summer 2019) the only good Italian place ran by Italians left in Wedding. Here you get no frozen cheese or bruschetta made with the leftover bread from the discount supermarket. The pizza is really good and the crust is thin, if you know anything about pizza styles in Italy you know that Neapolitan pizza (softer and with the puffy edge), is only one of them. They taught their cooks to make the pizza right. The service is always courteous and efficient, no German hipster waiters sitting you next to some guy smoking in your face by the window (like some other pizza place I won't mention here).

This is the real Italian style! Family run business, here since the ~80s.
Don't go anywhere else in Berlin: the best pizza is here. Huge sizes and fair price. Still quality is high! The pizza style is flat and crunchy, super easy to digest.
As dessert, you should go for PannaCotta: despite the classic, it s not what you might have tried in other places. Tried to sneak out the recipe to the owner and waitress but that s a secret!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Viktoria W.Bezirk Mitte, Berlin0329. Aug. 2019
Super unfriendly staff! Kicked us out because we wanted to have a coffee at the bar simply because every table was taken. Apparently they don't do "only drinks"?!

I tried this trattoria/pizzeria tonight as another restaurant I wanted to go to was shut.
I ordered a Pizza dello Chef (pizza with prosciutto, ruccula and parmigiano). It was a very large sized pizza baked in a brick oven. I thought the prosciutto was sliced too thickly to be easily edible. I also thought the crust could have been a bit thinner as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Charles d.Long Beach, Vereinigte Staaten076115. Sept. 2018
Shithole. So so food. Nice ambiance. But these people actually demanded that we leave because another party was waiting for our table. It was 6:30 pm. We get that restaurants take reservations (I was a waiter all through college) but they had actually turned us away at 4:30 pm (even though they open at 4) because the ovens weren't hot enough to cook the pizza. So after the 20 plus minutes, we came back and got seated. So even before we got water we watched at least a dozen people taking take out pizza. Far as I can tell pizza doesn't cook in 35 seconds. So then we get the pizza, which the waiter puts in front of me unsliced, without a plate to take a slice to eat . When I asked him for a plate he took the whole pizza away without a word. He came back with an extra plate and the pizza sliced in half, not regular size slices. Ok fine. The real killers were... This idiot who refused to seat us 30 minutes after they opened because "the ovens weren't ready", then when they actually sat us and watching ten fully cooked to go pizzas go out the door in seconds. And then getting thrown out at 6:30 because someone else wanted our table, which we would have left in 10 minutes anyway, but if they had seated us when we arrived, 30 minutes after they opened, we would have already been gone. Ignorant

Went here with a friend and we each ordered a pizza, thinking they were personal-sized. The pizzas are actually quite huge and both barely fit on the table. The pizzas were delicious and very much like the kind I've had in Italy with a thin, chewy crust. The waiter was very friendly and brought us complimentary olives before the meal. The place is kind of small, but there's good seating outside.
