Super schönes Restaurant, zentral im Stuttgarter Stadtteil Plieningen.

Vorweg: Das Restaurant ist in das Haupthaus und den Biergarten aufgeteilt. Der Außenbereich ist jedoch saisonbedingt nur im Sommer geöffnet.
Ich habe bisher nur den Biergarten besucht - den dafür jedoch relativ häufig. Die Spezialität hier: Die hauseigenen, frisch gemachten Dinetten.
Eine Art Flammkuchen - Nur eben besser!
Daneben gibt es aber auch die klassischen Gerichte der Restaurant-Karte, wie z.B. Käsespätzle oder Rostbraten.
Das Lokal besticht vor allem durch die Location. Darüber hinaus freundliches und überwiegend kompetentes Personal.
Geheimtipp: Direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite geht es in einen Park, der vor allem auch durch die Studenten der Universität genutzt wird.
Super schön, um vor oder auch nach dem Essen einen kleinen Spaziergang zu machen.

Es gibt die eigene Bushaltestelle "Plieningen Garbe". Die U-Haltestelle Plieningen ist auch nur wenige Meter entfernt.

In the quaint little area of Plienigen just a few steps from the end of the U3 line sits this cute Biergarten/restaurant and hotel. Choose to sit in the sun or the shade of large, mature trees and choose either chairs or bench style seating.
They have a limited menu specializing in Swabian fare such as tripe, ravioli, lentils and sausage with spatzle, schnitzel, cordon bleu, sausage salads, wood fired bread and more.
Service was attentive and accommodating with a couple special requests. Very pleased

Delicious food .... I do not know about authentic German food but I was told this place was it.. I been looking for German sausage and oh yes!!!
The taste is delicious and cooked very well spices are perfect and all was just perfect!

Real good, tasty traditional Schwabian food. Reasonable prices and good service. German, italian, grench wines in the menu.

This restaurant was fantastic. So fantastic we went the first time on a Friday night, back for lunch on Saturday and dinner on Saturday.

This is my favorite restaurant in town, without a close second. The food here is the best local fare I found. Their service is absolutely professional and friendly. Strongly recommend the braised beef.

In warm season, this is also my favorite Biergarten as well. The nearby U3 makes it easy for everyone to get in and out safely. Their outdoor menu is simple but perfect to introduce visitors or newcomers to the Schwabian traditions.

My favorite time to come is noon on Sundays, straight from mass down the block. With a walk in the University gardens, a weiswurst and bier, I can better appreciate the Good Lord's blessings. Amen!

Im Biergarten; Bestellung der Getraenke ein wenig umstaendlich bei wenig Kleingeld sitzt man schnell auf dem Trockenen!
