No frills, high quality, fresh ingredients. Their banh cuon and banh uot are silky and made to order. I love how their nem chua tastes and their nuoc cham is to die for and extra garlickly. Perfect for dipping the banh cuon and banh uot! Yum!

I met Ai at a popup bar in Kyoto and was invited to come to her bar while in Tokyo.

The bar is tucked underground in a nondescript alley in Ebisu, but look out for the signs and you'll have no problem finding it. Ai's design of the bar is spacious, inviting, moody but comforting. We opted to tell Ai what flavors we liked and let her pick out our drinks for us. Drinks on the menu ranged from 1500Y to 2000Y which are reasonable.

Ai's experience from working in the best bar's around Japan and the world shines through, each drink was well crafted and were tasty. This is definitely on my list of places to stop by every time I pass through town.

I was pretty skeptical about the high ratings for Vietnamese vegan food but this place is amazing, our group of 8 ordered around 10 dishes, they're pretty expensive running around $15-$25/entree. However, given how everything is made fresh from scratch you're getting a great deal! Service is attentive and friendly, our waters were filled consistently and we were checked on to make sure everything was to our liking, they even complimented dessert!

Thanh Tinh Chay is on our list for future trips out to San Diego!

Great event! The chopstick gift are a great addition to the annual picnic basket! There were a couple choices that we could choose from and I opted for the vegetarian bento. Ingredients were fresh, tasty and high quality. I'll add this place to my rotation in the west end!
