Food was really good. The appetizer Calamari was awesome. The Japanese eggplant with prawns in garlic sauce was also excellent. The duck laarb was a bit too salty for my taste. You would have no idea what meat it was if you just tasted it blind.
Their drinks look really good, and i will return to try one some time.
I went here a month ago and I still remember how good the huevos w chorizo were. Coffee was also excellent.
The ambience is an industrial like concrete floors, laminate tables sort of thing. It's OK, and it probably makes it easy to keep the place clean.
My server was friendly and prompt.
Overall the experience was quite good, and I'm likely to be back after I move there. I didn't go there on my visit to town last week, only because I wanted to try other breakfast places.
I had a nice, properly made pastrami sandwich. Nice and moist, flavorful, and large. It made me sleepy.
They have some local beers. I had a Pilsner, which was good.
The place has a BBQ house vibe that is good.
My one complaint is that it seemed a bit pricey for what you get.
The pulled pork waffle is awesome. Loaded with blue cheese and cabbage. I really liked it.
Their sausage is really sweet. Its loaded with aromatic spices, and short in savory flavor. I can see how some would like it, but I'm not a fan.
They have these cool corn fritters laden with sugary cereal for kids.
Service was fine. No complaints.
Really not great food. "Hollandaise" is yellow gravy. Probably from a can. It is without the faintest hint of tang. No lemon juice in that stuff.
The omelette was decent. Except for the yellow gravy they supplied to dump on it.
French toast arrived cold. Would not melt the butter in the least. Chopped fruit on it is just that. Its not in a sauce or anything.
Coffee is not bad.
The ambience is nice. Its homey and friendly, with some artwork on the walls.
If not for the food I would return.
The free breakfast in the cheap motel in Winslow the next day was honestly better in every way.
