I would give Doorstead a zero if Yelp allowed it. After two years with Doorstead, I must share that my experience was very disappointing. Here's why: 1. Unreliable Management: simple tasks like email forwarding were handled promptly, often within minutes, but their efficiency significantly decreased when it came to substantial property management issues. Both my tenants and I repeatedly found our requests ignored, met only with delayed and inadequate responses. The only consistency was in receiving apologies and empty promises from their management and customer success associates after formal complaints were made--a far cry from the professionalism expected.

2. Lack of Transparency: Following Doorstead's advice, I avoided direct contact with my tenant for more than a year, until a water damage emergency demanded immediate interaction, also due to Doorstead's inaction for a week. This necessary breach of protocol uncovered Doorstead's multiple misrepresentations and their inability to handle essential maintenance effectively. Discovering that our past misunderstandings were actually exacerbated by Doorstead's policies was both eye-opening and frustrating. Well, just this week, another issue arose when Doorstead retained my security deposit after the lease ended 10 days ago, falsely informing my tenant that it had been transferred to me last month. This has caused inconvenience regarding the lease transfer.

3. Poor Value and Increased Burden: I initially chose Doorstead to simplify property management and avoid the hassles of dealing with local companies. Ironically, this decision led to greater personal involvement and stress. I've encountered too many errors from Doorstead, including flaws in the original lease agreement, mismanaged maintenance scheduling, incomplete deep cleaning promised before the tenant's arrival, ignorance during emergencies, and issues during the termination process......Paying over $200 monthly, I ended up with confusion and frustration instead of the promised efficiency and professionalism.

Reflecting on my experience, I am relieved that my relationship with Doorstead has concluded. I hope this feedback prompts Doorstead to thoroughly reevaluate and enhance their communication practices and commitment to service. Future clients deserve a higher level of transparency and reliability than what I encountered.

We recently visited Broken Yolk for a brunch outing and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The place got that warm, family-friendly vibe that makes it perfect for both families and a group of friends looking to catch up over some good food. Speaking of the food, the portions are generous, to say the least! The staff was attentive, friendly, and really made us feel welcomed.

A wonderful place for anyone seeking a nice and simple lunch place in Thousand Oaks! The ambiance is casual and welcoming; the food is fresh and nicely presented.

The food was underwhelming especially considering it replaced Le Pain Quotidien, and the excessive use of plastics was disappointing. It's unfortunate to see a huge step back.
