Well intentioned is the best way to describe the Lufthansa business lounge. There is a decent collection of snacks and the usual array of newspapers.

Bow i'm not reviewing the overall LH experience, but this lounge in particular. And if you have ever had the pleasure to frequent the LH lounge in Frankfurt, then Hamburg is an utter disappointment. The staff are stressed and unmotivated. The patrons are exactly what you expect from a Monday morning flight, but the drab and loveless ambiance doesn't exactly help here. If you have a chance to go to the airport lounge instead (there's an entrance free unless you've got status with another airline) then these are worlds apart.

The 'lovely' view of the parking garage, did not do anything to help the atmosphere. Overall you'rr being shown that you are not good enough for gold / first class. I know it seems spoilt to complain about free stuff, but if you did pay for that business class ticket (i'm a frequent flyer only), then you should deserve a little bit more class than this lounge has.

      St. Georg, Hamburg

I went to Otto's Burger for lunch and it was totally fine. The place was near empty, which made for a nice break. Cheap-skate me ordered the lunch special - cheeseburger, fries and one of hier homemade lemonades (black tea and plum)

The guys taking the order seemed very friendly and pleasant. The burger came quick and with a smile. And it was... fine. It was good, it was what I expected. Fluffy patty on toasted bread, medium (as ordered). Everything tasted fresh. Yes, there were he usual burger related hiccups (the tomato and lettuce cooled the patty to quick). But all in all nothing to complain. The whole mail was less than 12€.

So what's there to complain. I guess only hat it was all- fine. There was nothing distinctive, nothing out of the ordinary. No special sauces, no unique flair to the place or the food. The plate and cutlery felt cheap and Plastic-y.

But - do check it out. You will not be disappointed, but don't expect to be blown away either. As burger bars go, it's a decent average. Staff, drinks (the lemonade was awesome) and the well done fries made it a 4 star for me.

What a hipster place! This place could not be more millennial and it knows it. Tucked away behind ZARA, you walk up the stairs expecting a hidden tea room fresh out of "Gremlins", instead you're treated to an airy and bright modern coffee place.

The selection is decent, the prices are high but normal for a City Centre coffee place. The staff are absolutely lovely (though the patrons are all very busy and important - or at least think they are).

The coffe and bagels are very good quality. Stop by for a quick cuppa and a nice view whilst seated in a comfy chair. If you can get past the clienté, you won't be disappointed.

Finally a coffee place I can come back to! The new "with heart & sugar" (:-)) is a quaint little place where the heart can actually be felt.

Despite the rather noisy location on the Main Street the café has a quiet vibe. The friendly staff will prepare most coffee variations one can think of, also there is enough kinds of tea to leave no desires open.

In terms of food - you're well placed here also. There are home made cakes, quiches, breads and breakfasts. The breakfasts are made with a lot of nice little touches. It feels cozy and tastes great.

Defiantly check this place out - I'll be returning for sure.

This is a very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and very formerly staff. We had the sea bass, squid and the garlic'd bread.
We were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed and friendly waiters who seemed to have a passion for their work.

And definitely try the home-made Sangria(!!) it's zesty and refreshing! Last, but not least - the cream Catalan is also home-made - and it is amazing.
