Went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had a large party of 20. Service was a bit slow but overall the staff were really awesome. Hasan took care of us and went out of his way to get us a lot le great photos!
The ambiance was everything. They had live music with different performers, from drummers to violinist to a fire show, they know how to entertain! Love the overall vibe and the party sparklers!
Food and cocktails were good as well. Our group loved the octopus ceviche, the branzino, and the braised short ribs pasta.
Overall we had a great time! Would definitely recommend and will be looking forward to bringing more friends back next time!
First time at Rubio's and we were so impressed! Love the fish tacos concept. We ordered every single fish taco on the menu along with their shrimp taco and burritos. I like my fish seasoned with their blackened seasoning. My boyfriend thought the burritos were good but a bit too heavy.
If you want something light and refreshing, go their their fish tacos! We even recommended this place to a few friends already!
Thought the concept was interesting so we decided to stop by and try the food. I always love it when I see a fast casual Vietnamese concept.
The peanut sauce was really bland. The portion was kind of small. I just don't get why most of these fast causal places just end up serving really bland food. Vietnamese food is supposed to be a lot more exciting with a ton of flavor.
The taste overall is okay, nothing great. Service was friendly though. I guess they are trying their best to make it work. I'm just a little disappointed.

Hi Twitney,
We're so sorry that you found the food to be bland. We blend our peanut sauce in house and will check the flavoring and seasoning to ensure it tastes creamy and up to standard. Did you get all the garnishes? We try to encourage our customers to top their bowls with all of them to get a full flavor profile: salty, spicy, tangy and sweet. We hope you'll give us another chance, please ask for myself (Mark) or my general manager Michael the next time you're in.
Thanks,
Mark
This place fell short on my expectation for a place that's highly rated. The place seems dirty. I was very turned off after seeing a grimy bottle of sauce which had crusted sauce all over the bottle's top, left out on the table.
The falafel was good but not anything amazing. I've had much better falafels back in DC. The hummus was typical and the pita that came with it tasted like cardboard.
We also got a few platters: lamb kabob, shish kabob, and the shawarma. They were all served on a bed of shredded romaine and tomatoes, all drenched in a tahini sauce. The pitas that came with the platters were generic grocery store quality pitas. The shawarma tasted the best out of all of the platters. I didn't like the flavor of the shish kabob that much and it's usually my favorite dish.
The food was cheap, fast and had good value. Not a bad place to grab something for late night but I don't know if it's anything worth the hype.
We wanted a light dinner and luckily our hotel was in walking distance. The place was really packed when we came at around 7pm. There was a bit of a wait but it didn't take long.
I mostly came here because I was so intrigued by the banh mi pictures I saw on yelp! It definitely did not disappoint. We got the spicy beef and the pulled pork. They were both good mainly because of the bread. It was carved out on the inside to keep the shell nice and crunchy without the heavy bread filling. I really enjoyed them and really appreciated the authenticity because that is how banh mis are served in Vietnam!
We also ordered the papaya and mango salad, summer rolls, crispy spring rolls, and cubed beef (which was basically shaky beef). They were all good but nothing special about them in particular.
The service was friendly and our food came out very fast. I just didn't like how crammed the restaurant was. The community seating was a bit awkward and a bit uncomfortable because the space was so small.
Overall we enjoyed our dinner and I highly recommend the banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich)!
