I had the pleasure of watching "Doc" last weekend at a 6 year old's bday party. He was patient, funny, engaged and he successfully entertained a party of about 20 kids for nearly an hour.
His routine is equal parts silly, professional and smooth and he kept the kids (and adults) laughing. Highly recommend!!
Fist off, Bludsos is the best BBQ in the city. A few others might be in the conversation and everyone is entitled to their own tastes, but few can argue they aren't in the top 3. So no question about the food... this review is just about showing a little love for the professionals helping to run the place, too.
Earlier tonight, I ordered delivery through GrubHub and when the food got here, they had sent rib tips instead of a rack of ribs. I called up, took just a second to explain and the guy LISTENED. He apologized and promptly told me he would handle it.
About 10 minutes ago, I received my (still hot) rack of ribs and they even sent along a banana cream pie dessert for my troubles.
Food is always top notch... nice to see the service matching, even in these crazy times. Thanks Bludso's!
Just had to drop some quick love - this is the best pharmacy with the kindest people and they have an excellent reputation within the medical community so you know the prescription services are top-notch.
Support them if you have a choice!
Adam is a really nice guy and is very good at what he does. He was extremely flexible with scheduling, showed up on time, installed multiple car seats for us and also took the time to show us HOW he did it, just in case we needed to re-install ourselves.
A true professional and a good value for the money, too. Thanks Adam!
I've been living blocks from the Belmont for about a decade and I used to go all the time. I needed a break, so I hadn't been in a while, but decided to go last week and check it out with a buddy. We liked the new layout, the menu was cool and great people-watching.
The joy ended there. We waited for our server... she was nowhere to be seen. Just to see how long it went, we didn't ask for anybody, just sat there waiting. About 15 minutes later, our waitress strolls over, doesn't say hi and asks what we'd like to drink. Funny thing is, we saw her earlier on her phone, just hanging by the bar, for about half of the time we were waiting - we just didn't know she was our server, haha. Think her name was Emmy, something like that.
The beers were cold, the food was tasty, but the whole thing just stunk because of the service. Our waitress was so disinterested, it was like she would rather be anywhere else that day but serving us. I almost hate to say this, but she looked like the typical young, hollywood struggling actress just waiting tables on the side. Sucks for her, definitely sucked for us.
Oh well, there are plenty of options, but it's a shame, I used to love The Belmont.
