      The delivery driver almost killed my wife and 15 month old by running a red light at 1st and university. The driver was heavily speeding and laid on his horn after missing her 4Runner by a couple inches. This near miss could have drastically altered our lives and am so f*ing pissed off at this careless individual there are no words.

      Very disappointed with my first experience at Chubby Cattle...

      I wanted so badly to like this place because it's a short walk from my house and there's not many other concepts like it in the area. However, after the way I was treated I don't see myself coming back.

      My chief complaint is customer service and my overall negative interaction with the staff.

      I placed an online order for pickup through yelp powered by grubhub last Sunday at 5 PM during a snowstorm. After walking through the freezing cold, I entered the restaurant and told the host I was there for pickup. The host gave me a confused look, motioned for her colleagues to come over, and then after explaining that I was picking up an order to two additional people, I was told that the restaurant never received my order and that they don't accept online orders on weekends. Instead of being empathetic and apologizing, and doing anything at all to correct their mistake, I was told that I need to call yelp and file a complaint there...

      Yelp, in addition to their social media / rating capabilities, leverages grubhub technology to place delivery and pickup orders, . The restaurant uses the technology platform and has full control over what menu items can be ordered and when. In my case and anyone else who tried to place an order on the weekend, their orders got sent to a black-hole, despite the receiving a confirmation in the app that the restaurant 'is preparing the food'. Net, net Chubby Cattle screwed up and tried to deflect the blame away from themselves and do nothing to accommodate the customer. I left my name, number and requested a manager call me back, it's been five days and haven't heard a peep.

      Back to the customer service... after being told that my order was never received and thus no food was prepared, I was welcome to place the order and wait 45 minutes for them to prepare it because they were so busy. But even that offer was retracted - after looking at the items I ordered on the app, the hostess advised that they don't offer anything aside from sushi rolls for takeout despite having the full menu on display for takeout... A nice gesture would have been to offer to make what I ordered or if that's not possible because of their sushi roll policy, expedite what they can provide (there's freaking 100 rolls at any given moment spinning around the restaurant on their conveyor belt), and give me a place to sit/stand - as there is absolutely no waiting room in the front of the restaurant - while they address their oversight. Or as another alternative could be to offer to deliver the food... but obviously this was way too much to ask for and the thought of them making accommodation might hurt their pride too much because it might be construed as them admitting any fault in the incident.

      I am generally very reasonable and completely understand mistakes happen, but what I don't understand or tolerate is rudeness, crappy customer service, lack of follow-up, and negative interactions with people that are supposed to help.

      I caution anyone who wants to be a patron at a place that treats their customers this way.

      One of my personal favorites on broadway. Ordered much of the menu over a number of visits and takeout, never gone wrong. The ceviche and flank stake are both perfection.

      Nice boutique on broadway with a diverse inventory of goods. Purchased a a few pairs of magnetic snap baby clothes that my little one is styling in. Glad to live near by such a great establishment.

      Recent remodel and very clean rooms make for a nice stay. Price point is relatively good given the location and accessibility to beaver creek and vail.

      Reduced review by 1 star because the hotel's default is to not recognize status in anyway, and they make sure to remind you of this. Ended up on a low floor next to the elevator with screaming kids playing games in the hallway, which was both entertaining and annoying.
