Great lunch spot. Boiled wonton in chili oil was really good. Also recommend the XLB.
I originally went to the Maui location and was blown away by the chicken tandoori. Has intense flavor and is tender and not over cooked. Chicken tiki masala was solid but not anything special. Biryani was also good. I really enjoy the garlic cheese naan too. Easy recommendation.
I trained with Lena 3x a week pre covid era. She is fantastic, listened to my goals and always challenged me. Highly recommend!
It's been a while since I've eaten out and Bonito poke is always a treat. I'm glad to see they are now offering more than just poke.
I ordered the bbq chicken. Its not your typical sweet bbq taste that you would get from L&L but more savory like adobo. The black sesame seeds are a nice touch. The Macaroni salad does not have any mayo, so it's definitely a more healthy choice. All that is over a bed of greens with sesame dressing. Complete meal.
Def worth a try. Poke is always great too!
Best poke bowl ever! After the poke boom of 2015 countless of poke spots have opened and Bonito Poke has kept it's bowls on top by using fresh fish and unique flavors.
I've been back many times usually getting the "traditional." Unlike traditional poke bowls they add red onions and cashew nuts for added textures. The fish is always fresh and bowls are beautifully crafted, totally Instagram ready.
Bonito Poke is one of the best food trucks out there.
We came here for a surprise bday party and since we got there early we decided to grab a snack outside because I was convinced that they were not going to have good food anyways. I was never really a big fan of circa or most of the food in the marina. I was wrong.
I loved the new ambiance over Circa darker colors and loved the hanging chandelier over the main table we got in the middle. We got separated into different tables cause the largest table they have only sits 8.
Our waiter was super chill and service was nice and fast. We were there for Sunday brunch. I ended up getting shrimp and grits since I haven't had it since going to Brenda's soulfood.
I was blown away with the quality of food. I thought this place was more of a bar food quality, but I was pleasantly pleased. The quality is very similar to Brenda's, but without the cheese. Most of the prices are about $15 per entree but quality for most of the other items we ordered are very good.
I highly recommended coming here for your next brunch.
