It was my 4 year old daughter's first time going to the dentist, and the hygienist Annie was AMAZING! She was so kind and my daughter's nerves were left in the waiting room. Thanks to Annie my daughter cannot wait for next check-up & cleaning.

      3 Stars for ER
5 Stars for Wing A 6th Floor for Jennifer, RN

Emergency Room: My father had to be taken by ambulance to the ER for chest pains and shortness of breath. When we arrived in the ambulance I immediately noticed that the unit was very modern, clean, organized, and he had a room already assigned & waiting for him. I was impressed by the multiple private rooms, even equipped with tv's to help keep the patient & their family comfortable. We were greeted by the doctor within the hour of arriving to the ER as well as saw him again as soon as the lab tests were done. Because different scans & tests had to be done we were there for about 7 hours (really 4-5 hours, but since he had to be admitted over night we had to wait for a room to be prepared & for transport to get him). All the nurses but one were very kind. I know they are busy and running around so it's understandable if they are tired and/or in a rush, but you shouldn't be defensive or make us feel bad if we have a question about the medicine being injected into my Dad. We appreciated the other nurses and technicians' empathy and care for my Dad while there.

      Wing A, Floor 6:
If Yelp allowed multiple reviews, I'd choose 5 out of 5 stars, specifically for a new RN named Jennifer. All of the nurses were kind and accommodating, but she really stood out. Her genuine empathy, thoroughness, & overall care for my Dad was outstanding. My Dad has been fighting Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer for over two years now and is transitioning to Hospice. I stayed by my father's bedside for multiple nights here and she knew how concerned we all were about his care and transition. She took the time to listen to us and answer all of our questions. She explained every medication clearly & slowly while LOOKING at my Dad, to make sure he acknowledged what was happening and waited until he agreed to take it. She would forewarn him if any pills tasted bitter, or if an injection would sting more than normal, as well as reminded us that he had other options as far as dosage or even medical equipment (heat pack, ecd machine, compression socks, etc.) that she could get or ask the doctor for. I was personally impressed that she was the only nurse that was able to get him to take ALL his medication without spitting it back up. Her secret was simply use applesauce instead of water! Every spoonful she'd him ask if it was too much/little sauce. She knew he liked having ice instead of water in his pitcher, that he easily got cold, went through tissue boxes like nothing... and Jennifer made sure he was always stocked up, warm, & comfortable without waiting for us to ask. Thank you Jennifer! God Bless you!

Thank you to Dr. Leah, Dr. Gold, Dr. Pollack and all the wonderful nurses (Audrey, Allison, Amy, Keira, Laurel, Linda, Martina, Derrick, Miko, Adrian) and the rest of the staff on the 7th floor!! My Dad was admitted here by SCCA (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance) at the last minute because of major discomfort and bloating last week. UWMC was able to accommodate him with a room right away without having to go through the ER. I stayed with my dad in his room for 5 days and 4 nights and everyone was so kind and accommodating. If my Dad needed a scan, procedure, or a therapist from a different department they were able to make calls and make things happen without having to wait the next day for regular hours. Dr. Cohen (SCCA) even came to see my Dad on a Sunday to see him before being discharged. Genuine care & quality is why we travel downtown from Everett versus going to the local hospital. Thank you all again!

I highly recommend Dr. Chang's office. I've been coming here for the last 3 years and have always received the best service from him and his team. No matter how busy, everyone is so welcoming, personable, patient (I think I tried at least 20 different frames lol) & efficient. On top of that my glasses are always ready before the estimated date. I have moved to Fontana a year ago but I still come back to do business here. Thank you Eye Care Optometry of San Gabriel!
