This is a new raw Vegan restaurant down the street from Versailles and La Carreta on 8th Street. It's a very chic, bistro-style decor, with soothing jazz music in the background. At La Vie en Raw you could feel as comfortable in a business suit as in bermuda shorts. The portions are generous, the prices good, the food tasty. You can get smoothies, juices, salads, entrees, and desserts, all made completely meat and dairy-free. They even have cooked brown rice for those who may want something 'hot'. And they have FREE parking (in the back). I've eaten there and look forward to going back.
