It's really nice to have a new place to get great food. Beef soup, shrimp dumplings, chicken curry, jasmine milk and tea eggs. Yum! So good! We ate there twice in a week, which is an indication of how tasty the food is. I look forward to exploring more of their food and drink options.

I think the first time I came here was 1984!, and the same counter guys still work here!! I like that's it's just good hickory burgers and fries, nothing fancy, but consistently good. Pie is yummy (my fave is boysenberry a la mode.) There's an unspoken line waiting etiquette and you'll catch on pretty fast. On hot summer days they open the windows and turn on the fans. It's hot, but still worth it. I am pretty sure they are still cash only. Love the Apple Pan.

I have photographed this bridge many times but it always draws me back for another photo. It's beautiful from below and above. If there's a pretty sunset you'll see other photographers arriving to get a shot. The bridge party is always fun, it takes place every other year. See Pasadena heritage for more information.
