Conrad

Zu der Filiale oder auch zu Conrad grundsätzlich kann man verschiedene Meinungen haben ich als Otto- Normalverbraucher geht hin um Sachen zu kaufen wenn ich schon weiß was ich haben möchte... deswegen kann ich zu der ausführliche Beratung und Personal nicht so viel sagen, mal ist es freundlich mal SS genervt - wie überall.
Was ich wirklich hier gut finde dass man viele Sachen ohne Rechnung und ohne jegliche Diskussion abgeben kann auch wenn man keine Kundenkarte besitzt.
Wenn man eine Conrad Kundenkarte besitzt hat man automatisch 12 Monate längere Garantie gratis das ist auch ein Stern wert.

Prior to last week, the only Conrad I had ever been to was the one on Hermannplatz. My experience there - a few short days after moving to Germany - was terrible. The customer service was abrupt and unfriendly, the selection was regrettably near non-existent, and the prices were outrageous.

So I was surprised when, a year-and-a-half later, I came to this Conrad and found it to be totally the opposite. The employees were congenial enough, the store was huge with more than I imagined, and the prices were hit and miss, but not all terrible.

I still don't know why I would need to come here when there is a Saturn down the road, but it's still good to know that not all Conrad stores are terrible. And if you do need to go to Conrad, I would suggest this one any day.

So, I needed a couple of adapters so I could plug in all the electronic crap I brought with me from the US - and this handy place had what I needed. Big joint, strangely takes no credit cards - Debit only. I find that one cultural difference that I can do without. I want my frequent flyer miles dagnabit!
